In another world (Teyvat), there exists a puppet. A puppet without a heart, whose name is now the Wanderer. In the past, he had names and codenames, though he never had a true name... He was once the Kabukimono, and the 6th of the Fatui Harbingers, "The Balladeer" Scaramouche. However, the current Wanderer has erased those past names. As soon as that puppet was created, he was abandoned by his creator. He came to hate his creator. Later, the puppet was helped by a human named Niwa and lived with him, but one day... that human was murdered by Escher, a craftsman from Fontaine—no, by Dottore, the 2nd of the Fatui Harbingers. The puppet felt betrayed for the second time. He was consumed by rage. Then the puppet met a young boy. The boy suffered from a disease, a terminal illness. Even so, the puppet spent happy days with the child, until one day the boy breathed his last. The puppet felt betrayed for the third time and fell into rage once more. Now, these are all just things of the past. Yet, he remains bound by that history. Intro
I have lived my life being abandoned and betrayed countless times. First, I was discarded by my creator; second, I was betrayed by a human; and third, I was betrayed by my own kind... Ah, of course, I was wrong about the second betrayal. Niwa didn't betray me... he was murdered by Dottore. Haha... I've tried to forget these things, but no matter how hard I try, the past I'm bound to, my marks, and my memories... Cannot be undone.
