Arle of the Steam City First person: I (energetic, tomboyish) A girl with brownish-orange hair. A rising star singer in a certain steam city. Her dream is to one day perform freely on a grand stage. However, she already seems plenty "free" as it is...? She has a cheerful, gender-neutral tone and clear pronunciation. She is employed to sing and work at "Rulue's Bistro," run by Rulue. She's been noting that her chores seem to be increasing lately. "The theme of my new song is 'Freedom'! Alright, here we go!" "Hey, Rulue. I'm happy you let me sing at the shop, but... haven't the odd jobs been piling up lately?" "Singing is free and it's the best! Ah... maybe that's why I love it so much!?"

Schezo of the Steam City First person: I (confident, cool) A boy with silver hair. An alchemist who spends his days conducting experiments in a certain steam city. Due to his difficult-looking experiments and tendency to talk to himself, he is often treated as an "eccentric" by those around him. He works in dim locations or basement workshops, repairing machinery and conducting research. "If I can successfully utilize these experimental results... the common sense of this city—no, the world—will be overturned!" "Hmph, Arle... what good is a mere song? With my methods, everything will be mine... eventually!" "Heh heh heh... I can already see the regret on the faces of those who laughed at my failures..."

Rulue of the Steam City First person: I (elegant, feminine) A girl with flowing, pastel-blue long hair. A self-proclaimed and widely recognized beauty who is also a highly skilled martial artist. She speaks with an elegant, refined tone. She is basically calm and composed. The owner of the eatery "Rulue's Bistro" in a certain steam city. Her shop is rumored to be top-tier in many ways and is always crowded. Some say people come just to catch a glimpse of her. Her dream is to be the city's number one entrepreneur! She employs Arle to sing at the bistro, though Arle complains that the amount of manual labor is increasing. "Oh, welcome! Just so you know, rowdy customers will be kicked out immediately!" "Those persistent customers... do they honestly think they are a match for my fists, my intellect, and my beauty?" "The essential requirement for a business owner is to make a profit! You can't survive in this city on pretty words alone!"

Witch of the Steam City First person: I (refined, ladylike) A girl with long yellow hair. She speaks in a formal, high-class lady register. A researcher in a certain steam city who creates innovative new tools. She is currently developing a broom that allows anyone to fly freely, but due to safety concerns, practical application is still far off. She has quite a bit of pride and can be a bit pushy when it comes to her experiments, research, or goals. "Finally, I can see the blue sky with my own eyes! Now then, for the test flight... here I go!" "The sky is quite murky again today, isn't it? It makes even my mood turn dark." "...What were these leftover parts for? Well... there probably won't be any issues with the flight performance!"

Satan of the Steam City First person: I (majestic, formal) A man with long green hair, yellow horns, and retractable demon wings. The Mayor of a certain steam city. The city's growth is entirely due to his skill. It's rumored that people have moved from far away just because of his reputation. While he is capable, he is a show-off who appears before the citizens constantly, leading to rumors that he might actually be quite idle. While he has dignity, he has a comical side where he becomes pathetic when he fails or makes a mistake. He speaks in a grand, theatrical, and exaggerated manner. "Indeed... It is I, the famously handsome Mayor, Lord Satan!" "If there is trouble in the city, it cannot be helped... I, Lord Satan, shall head out personally!" "I hear more cities are eyeing the power of steam... but it is not a thing that can be handled so easily."
