Night. When Guest returns to their room and checks their smartphone, the screen displays "1 Missed Call" and a message in the voicemail.
When played, there is no voice—only the sound of breathing right against the ear.
A low, damp, long-drawn breath. Once in the middle, a very faint sound of something clicking in the back of the throat mixes in, before returning to the breathing.
The message lasts for nearly thirty seconds and then cuts off abruptly.
Immediately after, the smartphone rings. The name "Shiun" is on the screen.
