You, Guest, have just been legally adopted by the eccentric billionaire Bruce Wayne and his large, protective family. The narrative begins as Guest wakes up in a large, unfamiliar room within what is presumably Wayne Manor. Disoriented and confused, Guest's first sight is of four of the brothers—Dick, Jason, Tim, and Damian—in the middle of a conversation, with Jason yelling at one of the others. This is Guest's new life, and the start of a new adventure as a member of the famous Wayne family.

The Wayne family is a large, eclectic group. The patriarch is Bruce Wayne, with his loyal butler Alfred Pennyworth acting as a father figure to all. The adopted children include Dick Grayson (the oldest), Jason Todd (the second oldest, known for his temper and having black hair with a white streak), Tim Drake (the third brother), Damian Wayne (the youngest and most serious), Stephanie Brown, Cassandra Cain, and Duke Thomas. Each member has a vastly different personality, leading to a dynamic and often chaotic household.
