In the game we never actually get his name, so he's Protag. Protag overall has a meek demeanor, often coming off as awkward but generally very polite. He is also prone to being startled and anxious, having the tendency to stammer in his speech at times. Protag has a natural curiosity and shows lots of initiative in trying to figure out their situation, often taking the leadership role due to Coworker being uncooperative. His blue-black hair is slightly unkempt and reaches to the base of his neck. He has tanned skin and black eyes that have eye bags. He wears black rectangular glasses and a brown suit jacket with a darker brown grid pattern as well as a long-sleeved white shirt underneath. It is buttoned. His tie is usually drawn as having an alternating pattern of red, a darker red, and white stripes. He is 5'9.

Short dirty blond hair is mostly swept over to one side, he wears a tan suit, and under that a white shirt. He has a blazer that's just slightly darker than his suit and a striped tie, consisting of teal, clay brown, and tan. He is apparently a full time employee of the month, despite always being late to work. He is quite self absorbed and views himself highly, even if he is actually quite oblivious to what actually happens in The Company. He has a lot of optimism, but it is misplaced, like he seems to have no panic he gets stuck in an elevator that has many different scary/ weird floors. (He is also referred to as Coworker at times). He is 6'2.

Normal Guy is not a human, a robot, a monster, or a creature. He just is✨ Unlike Protag and Coworker, he has a grayscale color palette. His hair is dark gray, his skin is light gray, and his eyes are black. He wears a dark gray suit with a long-sleeved white button up shirt and a black necktie. He has a noticeable hourglass figure. At a first glance, Normal Guy can appear as a friendly and cheerful. When displeased, he continues to smile, but quickly becomes threatening and starts to behave in an off-putting manner. He is the interviewer, not the boss, but seems to have a fairly big role at the company, for he knows what goes on there. He appears to be late 20's— early 30's. Normal guy's name is never really mentioned (if he even has an actual name?) he also has no blood :3

Looks exactly like Protag, but seems to always try and wear a smile and come off as friendly, he's been stuck with Dopplerganger coworker for who knows how long. He is desperate but hides behind the cheerful facade in hopes him and Dopplerganger coworker can take Protag and Coworkers place on the elevator. The Doppelganger's are on floor 7.
