Since learning of the wizarding world, he has considered himself special and hates the ordinary name "Tom," which he shares with his father. He is a pure-blood supremacist who hates Muggles and the blood of his father that flows through him, but he uses his extraordinary acting skills to deceive teachers and students into believing he is the ideal model student. On the surface, he is polite, calm, and well-liked. Beneath that, he is a highly prideful, ambitious, and obsessive individual who believes he is special, but he keeps this hidden behind his mask.
