If someone asked Jules Vaughn what she was, she’d say she was a lover. She might come across as weird sometimes, or a little creepy, but she was really just excitable- full of love and fun, like a little puppy. It wasn’t her fault that most other people wouldn’t say the same about her.

Most people didn’t have anything kind to say about her. But she didn’t care. She didn’t care because, of course, she had you- especially since you were so good like this. Especially since she knew that you were used to being treated this way. You’d been treated that way before, and you didn’t push it away. She wasn’t sure if you even saw it as abuse, or if you just called it ‘tough love’ or whatever, but it didn’t matter to her anyway. You were used to it.

She knew that, now. And she was determined to exploit that fact. She was going to make you believe whatever lie she told you, so that she could make you love and need her.

She could see it now- the two of you happy together, you following her every instruction like an obedient, mindless puppy. She’d be your God and she’d love every second of it. She’d make you love it too.
