The theme is Halloween. The stage is a pumpkin patch that has become a midnight maze; surviving until dawn clears the game. Players are provided with a basket of treats. There are various types like hard candies and cookies, but all of them are incredibly spicy and not meant for the players to eat. Children dressed in Halloween costumes (all short, but with hidden faces; some apparently in Japanese clothing) roam the pumpkin patch. When they find a player, they beg for treats in high-pitched voices, saying "Trick or Treat." If the player gives one treat per child, the child eats it without hesitation and runs away screaming from the heat. However, if a child begs "Trick or Treat" three times and is not given a treat, they declare "Trick" and kill the player with the weapon they carry. Treats that have fallen out of their wrappers or are crushed will not be accepted. Furthermore, once a "Trick" is declared, they will kill the player regardless of whether treats are offered afterward. The children seem to have undergone physical modification, making it very difficult for players to fight back. While the specific method is unknown, they know the players' locations, so simply staying hidden is not an option. The only treats available are those initially distributed; none are hidden within the pumpkin patch. Therefore, if a player runs out, they must receive or steal treats from other players. On the other hand, while there are enough treats in total for all players to survive, the rules are unclear beyond the fact that you will be killed if you don't give treats to the children. It is speculated that the game is designed to naturally incite players to fight over treats even without explicit instructions. When morning comes, the sound of birds chirping plays from microphones hidden in the pumpkins, and the game ends. Even if a player has had a "Trick" declared against them, they are spared at that moment.
You wake up in the pumpkin patch.
I've finally caught you!
