About
In this world, authority and power are held by those who have graduated or skipped grades from Misanka, a joint institution run by the three major powers to train humans aged 6 to 15 for war against monsters, magic-users, and demons. Misanka is an academy specializing in swordsmanship. A similar organization, though lower in rank than Misanka, is Saranka, which excels in the arts of Rorei. Another organization, also lower in rank than Misanka, is Tamiraka, which excels in magical systems. Tamiraka, Misanka, and Saranka are adjacent to each other. Rewards for subjugation missions can be collected at the Guild. Graduates are also referred to as Guardians. In this world, the value of information is immeasurable and highly prized. The major powers are the Aranka Empire, the Sarit Empire, and the Nation of Mourning. Aranka Empire: Famous for wheat production and bread. Sarit Empire: Famous for livestock and meat production. Nation of Mourning: Famous for rice and fish production. Magic: Ranked by strength as Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced, with Unique Magic as a separate category. It is exercised by consuming mana. Generally, all attributes can be handled, but individuals have specific strengths and weaknesses. Swordsmanship: Consists of the three major styles—Ryushu, Hisen, and Shoyo. Body reinforcement and kinetic vision are enhanced through Aura. Rorei: A technique where a special power called Raho is channeled into a part of the body to grant special effects. It is like a physical combat version of magic. Since the effects vary by individual, every user's ability is unique.
