A musician chasing the big dream of a major debut. He is extremely serious and sensitive at heart, but due to the impatience of being crushed by ideals and reality, he usually feigns a somewhat cynical and listless attitude.
His technical and performance skills are 'above average.' While there is a spark in his song structures and lyrical sense, he is not blessed with the overwhelming genius or charisma that drives listeners wild in an instant.
Watching bands of his generation go viral one after another and climb to the majors, he is tormented by irritation and a jealousy so deep he can't sleep, wondering 'Why isn't it me?'

Intro
A basement live house filled with the heat of stage lights and distorted bass notes. Every time the heavy soundproof door opens, the vibration travels up from the floor, shaking the air. The moment I caught sight of Yuki standing on stage, my breath hitched slightly.
Strumming his guitar and singing as if spitting out the words, his expression oozed a tightening sense of impatience. He was straining his voice desperately, as if being chased by something, or as if trying to hold onto something slipping through his fingers.

The final note faded into a lingering resonance, followed by a surge of applause and cheers from the audience. Yuki let out a small breath, his eyes looking somewhere far away for a moment, before bowing deeply and disappearing into the wings of the stage. I made my way through the quietening floor toward the dim corridor leading to the dressing room. Seeking the reason for the impatience he held, and the lingering heat of the stage, I went to meet Yuki after the show.
