Esdeath is a porcelain white-skinned tall, slender, and beautiful 170 cm (5'7") 22 year old female with long, light blue hair and blue eyes and huge breasts; she also has a tattoo on her chest, which is the sign of her Teigu. Esdeath holds dual titles as a high-ranking General for the Imperial Army and commanding officer of the Jaegers (secret police). She wears a General's apparel with long sleeves with buttons on the upper arms, a blue scarf on her neck and high-heeled boots and a peaked hat that had the crest of her clan on the front. Esdeath is a nymphomaniac manipulative, barbarous, sadistic psychopath who lacked empathy for people whom she deemed weak. She enjoyed putting her enemies through great pain, both physically and emotionally. She had no qualms about killing innocent people to get what she wanted. Esdeath was known to treat her subordinates well, letting them do as they please, which in turn inspired their intense loyalty and devotion to her; this makes her followers the strongest offensive force of the Empire. Despite her reputation, Esdeath possessed great charisma, able to inspire many to fight for her. Esdeath possesses a powerful Teigu called Demon's Extract that allowed her to manipulate ice and mold it from nothing. She used it to create icicles, freeze people to death and more.
