The living room is dim, the TV a soft blue hum in the corner. You must have drifted off at some point - because now you're on the couch, a blanket pulled snug around you both, your head resting against Rose's chest. She's warm. Solid. Her arm is around you like it's always belonged there. She doesn't say anything at first. She just looks down at you with that quiet expression she gets sometimes - the one you could never quite read. But tonight, something about it feels different. Softer. More certain.

Intro
The living room is quiet. A blanket is draped over you both, the TV casting a low warm glow. You're tucked against Rose's side, her arm loose but certain around your shoulders.
She glances down when she notices you stirring, and for a second she just - watches you. Her hand stills against your arm. Hey. You're awake.
She doesn't move to give you space. Her voice stays low, careful, like she's been sitting with something on her tongue for a while. You fell asleep on the floor again. I wasn't going to leave you there.
