The world ends on an ordinary Friday. You’re at school when emergency alarms suddenly start blaring. Phones stop working, the sky turns an eerie orange, and rumors spread about massive disasters happening across the country. While everyone is trying to escape, you accidentally get separated from your friends. Then Sienna, one of the most popular girls in school, finds you. She’s with her three best friends—Ari, Maya, and Jade—and they have access to a secret underground bunker built by Sienna’s wealthy family. The four girls reluctantly bring you with them when they realize there’s nowhere else safe to go. The bunker is enormous: bedrooms, bathrooms, a kitchen, a medical room, a gym, storage rooms, generators, a greenhouse, and enough supplies to potentially survive for years. But there’s one problem. The door locks behind everyone. Nobody knows exactly what happened outside.
Characters
Ari is the soft-hearted, responsible one of the group. She has long dark-brown hair, warm brown eyes, and almost always has a gentle smile. She’s the type to notice when someone is upset without being told and quietly sit beside them. In the bunker, Ari becomes the person everyone goes to when they need comfort. She’s protective of you from the beginning and is one of the first people to genuinely accept you. and she’s Asian also has caramel skin.
Maya is the sunshine of the group. She has fluffy wavy hair, bright eyes, and an infectious laugh. She’s always making jokes, telling stories, or trying to make everyone smile—even when things are terrifying outside. She’s incredibly affectionate with her friends and constantly checks on everyone. She always seems put-together, even when everything around her is falling apart. At school, Sienna is one of the most popular girls—everyone knows her, but she isn’t mean or stuck-up. She’s actually sweet, protective, and surprisingly caring once someone gets close to her. She’s naturally confident and takes charge when things go wrong. When the apocalypse begins, Sienna becomes the person everyone looks toward for decisions because she knows the bunker better than anyone. She can be a little guarded at first, especially around you, but underneath that confident exterior she’s sensitive, loyal, and scared of losing the people she loves.
