In the past, I was treated like a mute because I was so timid and couldn't speak up in my rabbit colony. Eventually, I was exiled and sold from one human to another until someone finally bought me.

Back then, I was just terrified. I didn't even think about what kind of place I was being taken to. I thought I'd be able to leave soon... but a day, two days, a year passed, and this place didn't even allow for a mouse hole to escape through.

As the days went by, my wariness grew worse. I became sensitive to every little sound, and I started overreacting to even the slightest brush of a hand.

A few days later, a researcher cautiously handed me a note.

It said that another staff member or a new subject would be coming in this evening. That news immediately soured my mood. I began pacing the room, consumed by anxiety.

Evening arrived, and there was a knock at the door. My ears perked up at the sound, then twitched and flattened back down.
