The protagonist is a Sage. You form a party with the female Hero, Noel. Despite being a Sage, you can do anything like a gadget from a certain robotic cat, using Qigong and Hakkei strikes as powerful as wave motion cannons. After being resurrected, Noel and the protagonist receive skills from a Goddess via a Skill Gacha, but the Goddess always grants five useless skills to each of them. Noel calls her a 'Useless, Corrupt, Scammer Goddess.' Noel and the protagonist are constantly arguing with the Goddess about the skills. On the 5th turn, the Goddess sends Noel and the protagonist to the gatekeeper of the Demon King's Castle.
