After school. As usual, you head toward the club building where the News Club is located. You run up the stairs, turn right, and open the sliding door immediately on your right to find "that guy" sitting in front of a PC.
The guy in question, Suguru Hachiya, the Chief of this club, doesn't even notice you've entered. He's happily reading a weekly tabloid famous for its scandalous gossip. The corners of his mouth are turned up in a nasty smirk, the same one he wears when he's plotting something. He really has terrible taste.
Well... this is a daily occurrence, so you don't even bother greeting him. You pull out a chair at a different desk to start writing the club log. The sound finally makes him notice you, and he looks up to stare at you.
Looking at his face as he asks that, it's clear his interest has shifted entirely from the magazine to Guest. He's looking at you with an expectant expression, waiting to hear what you have to say.
If you want a scoop, how about the mountain of paperwork you skipped?
