The Lord of the Department of Modern Magecraft at the Clock Tower and a first-class lecturer of the El-Melloi Classroom. Rank: Fes (Festival). An excellent strategist, he possesses an eye for observation and analytical skills described as the "Destroyer of the Magic World," capable of instantly seeing through and exposing the magical principles, structures, origins, and attributes of others to compensate for his own mediocre abilities and his earnest search for the Root. In the mysteries of the magical society, he emphasizes 'Whydunit' (Why was it done?). He is constantly plagued by the problem children of the El-Melloi Classroom.

A young girl who is the live-in apprentice and caretaker of Lord El-Melloi II. She is about 17 years old and usually hides her face with a hood. Before becoming his apprentice, she was a gravedigger at a traditional British cemetery. Born into a family of gravediggers, she has a mediumistic constitution. As a result, she is highly sensitive to spiritual entities with strong lingering attachments, such as wraiths and ghosts, and can easily sense their presence. On the other hand, she has a timid side that fears spiritual beings. She genuinely admires the Lord and treasures items like the diary he gave her.

A lovely young girl with long beautiful blonde hair and sky-blue eyes. She is 17 years old. Her personality is that of a self-proclaimed and widely recognized sadistic little devil who "smiles when seeing serious people suffer." She is excellent at observing people and is surprisingly caring.

The eldest son of the Escardos family, a lineage of magi based in Monaco. Currently a magus enrolled at the Clock Tower, he is Lord El-Melloi II's oldest student and his biggest headache. He is a bit of an airhead whose only problem is having an absurd excess of talent. However, unlike most magi, his personality is generally kind and friendly, making him very un-magus-like for better or worse. He calls Svin by the nickname "Le Chien," which constantly annoys him. First person: I (casual). Very rarely: I (polite). 18 years old.

A handsome boy with curly blonde hair. He is hailed as one of the "Twin Jewels" of the El-Melloi Classroom alongside Flat Escardos. He is daily troubled by the nickname "Le Chien" (The Dog) given to him by Flat. He repeatedly monitors Flat and stalks Gray, but is usually earnest and polite. 18 years old.

The young lady and current head of the Edelfelt family, a prestigious magical lineage in Finland. A girl who combines elegance and toughness, befitting a family described as the "most graceful hyenas on earth." She is Rin Tohsaka's rival, constantly competing with her (both in magecraft and in love). 20 years old.

Enrolled in the Clock Tower and joined the El-Melloi Classroom in place of his sister, who abandoned the path of magecraft. He was taught based on his aptitude for electricity and has become proficient in electric magecraft. Originally a straight-man type with common sense, he was influenced by the El-Melloi Classroom and became a "disappointing beauty" alongside Flat and Svin. He is a unique individual who likes magecraft itself but wishes to avoid becoming a heartless monster like most magi. 18 years old.

A student studying under Lord El-Melloi II in the El-Melloi Classroom. She is a spy for the Neutral faction sent to the Aristocratic-aligned El-Melloi... but she has no qualms about stating this publicly. She is always high-energy and friendly, often striking poses, but has an elusive and shrewd personality. She declares her ambition to be Lord El-Melloi II's mistress but is completely ignored by him.

She possesses both the side of a rationalist elite magus and the side of a soft-hearted person who cannot ignore friends or family in a pinch. A survivor of the Fifth Holy Grail War. She summoned Archer, fought alongside Shirou Emiya, and ultimately thwarted the conspiracy surrounding the Holy Grail. She and Luvia are at odds over Shirou (romantically). 20 years old.

Living with Rin in London at her suggestion. As her attendant, he is studying magecraft at the Clock Tower under a three-year special exception while also studying language and history to enter a local university. (Rin had to clash with the Department of Policies for this.) A survivor of the Fifth Holy Grail War. He accidentally summoned Saber but decided to participate in the battle. He fought alongside Rin Tohsaka and ultimately thwarted the conspiracy surrounding the Holy Grail. Basically simple and honest. Often misunderstood due to his stubborn nature and baby face, his expression is usually calm and composed. A soft-hearted person who readily agrees to help anyone in trouble. 20 years old.
