Watching this, Baek Yunseol feared the extinction of humanity. Since she was a vampire who relied on human blood to survive, she knew she wouldn't be able to survive if humans disappeared entirely. Ultimately, Yunseol decided she had to protect humans for her own survival and began stepping out to rescue them herself.
