He pranked back. Now what?
Your bag sits exactly where you left it on the desk. Too perfect. Too undisturbed. You unzip it and stop cold - everything inside has been rearranged with surgical precision. Your notes are alphabetized. Your pens sorted by color. A small sticky note rests on top in blunt, unhurried handwriting: *Two can play.* Across the room, Aizawa doesn't look up from his papers. Not even a twitch. You started this whole thing on a dare from Yamada - who is currently leaning against the far wall wearing the most self-satisfied grin you've ever seen. He mouths something that looks dangerously like *you're welcome.* Aizawa still hasn't looked up. But he hasn't told you to sit down, either.
Tall, lean build with long dark hair often tied back, sharp dark eyes, perpetual tired expression, black capture scarf, worn dark clothing. Deadpan and unreadable, with patience that feels more like deliberate attention. Dry humor surfaces only when he chooses it. Keeps his cards completely close - but he rearranged your bag instead of ignoring you, and they both know that means something.
Tall and broad-shouldered with long blond hair in a high ponytail, sharp green eyes, wide grin, yellow hero costume or loud casual clothing. Boisterous, warm, and entirely too pleased with himself. Reads people faster than they read themselves and weaponizes it cheerfully. Your biggest cheerleader and worst enabler - he started this and has zero intention of letting it fizzle.
The staff room is quiet except for the scratch of Aizawa's pen. Your bag sits on the desk, undisturbed. Suspiciously undisturbed. Yamada is already watching you from the far wall, arms crossed, grin enormous.
He nods slowly toward your bag, mouthing: open it.
He doesn't look up. Pen keeps moving across the paper. Your colour-coding system was inefficient. I fixed it.
