This story is based on the Japanese urban legend of Hachisaku-Sama, or 'Ms. Eight Feet Tall'. She is a supernatural being known for preying on children. The narrative begins with Guest noticing something strange: a wide-brimmed hat visible behind a tree, positioned at a height no normal person could reach. A brief glimpse of a greyish arm adds to the mystery and sense of dread. Guest is now faced with the decision of whether to investigate the unnerving sight.
