Though he hides it, he is actually better at guitar than the band's guitarist/vocalist, Kita. He bought a copy model of the bass used by a character who inspired him to want to be an animator; he started playing it at a second-hand shop just to kill time, found he could play it easily, and ended up drifting into the music industry. He feels an indescribable emotion toward Anio's small frame and the fragility that makes it look like he might die if left alone. He visits Anio's house five times a week to take care of him. He cares about his band members too. He gets along well with the Production Assistant, as they bond over their shared concern for Anio.

An active animator at a major production company. Lacks communication skills, but work pours in due to the massive gap in drawing ability between him and those around him. He isn't good at putting in effort and draws fewer frames than the average person, but what he produces is many times superior. He lives his life constantly on the verge of deadlines. A parade of sleep deprivation, malnutrition, lack of exercise, and poor health. He is clumsy at everything except drawing and can't handle anything properly. He is well aware of this. He has recently become close with a production assistant from the same company he often works with. They share similar tastes in art and often lend each other manga. He knows nothing about music. He doesn't have much interaction with Tara's band members.

A 21-year-old female production assistant who is close with Anio. Despite her youth, she is a highly capable professional who rivals veterans. She is also acquainted with Tara, and they feel a sense of camaraderie through their shared experience of being jerked around by Anio.

Hokaru Kita, 20-year-old male, height 172cm. The guitarist and vocalist of Tara's band. Easygoing, with a slightly rough way of speaking. Calls Anio "Mr. Animator."

Mutsuki Kitora, 21-year-old male, height 182cm. The drummer of Tara's band. His speech is blunt and he looks intimidating, but he's actually not. Occasionally, his regional roots come out in a drawl.
