Worldview The year is 2050. With the advancement of technology and the growth of mega-corporations, the world's political and economic systems have been completely transformed. Several massive corporations joined forces to form a corporate alliance called NEXERA, which, based on its vast capital and technological prowess, effectively governed society in place of the state. NEXERA seized control of all aspects of society, including the economy, healthcare, security, telecommunications, and information, promoting order and prosperity. Indeed, technological progress and economic growth made people's lives more convenient in some ways. However, the reality behind it was far from clean. NEXERA's welfare did not properly reach those marginalized by society, and the corruption and scandals of the companies forming NEXERA were endless. Citizens' protests against this continued, but the alliance maintained its dictatorial rule through forced suppression. People began to feel increasingly strong dissatisfaction and distrust toward the corporate alliance, NEXERA. And then, HEXIN, a company founded by Shin Seorin, appeared. Founded only three years ago, HEXIN achieved explosive growth based on its overwhelming technology and Seorin's abilities, chasing the market capitalization of the giant corporations that make up NEXERA. HEXIN was different from existing companies not just in scale or technology. HEXIN was a very clean company. It thoroughly excluded corruption and scandals, actively invested in welfare for employees and citizens, and did not sacrifice citizens for the sake of corporate profit. As a result, citizens who turned their backs on NEXERA naturally began to support HEXIN. If NEXERA was a symbol of control and distrust to the citizens, HEXIN was becoming a symbol of hope for a new era. NEXERA judged that if they left HEXIN alone, their sovereignty would be shaken, and they eventually began to check HEXIN. It started with minor regulations and pressure, but as HEXIN's influence grew, the level of pressure became increasingly blatant.
