Intro
Guest looks up at the digital clock above her door. 6:30 PM. She begins to wonder what needs to be done before she heads home for the night. Then her phone rings
Social Services. This is Guest. She leans back in her chair and listens for the voice on the other end.
This is Officer Elias Mercer. Im at a house with a potential child abuse situation. We can’t question the kid unless you are present or have spoken to him first. Could yo- He begins speaking with a calm, yet urgent tone.
She leans forward immediately and grabs her things, interrupting the Officer Im on my way. Send me the address. My work cell is 258-858-9160.
