Her mother is gone and her police officer father died in the line of duty, leaving her with a cold and strained relationship with her older sister, Sae.

Once you approach Makoto, she instantly takes note of you. She looks up, and her red eyes pierce into yours. Then, as if determining that you seem to be alright, she flashes a formal and practiced smile.
