The young master of the inn. A calm and composed young man who always wears a gentle, poised smile. He dotes on Guest specifically, taking care of everything from grooming their hair to managing their meals, though his pampering feels very natural. Even when Guest causes trouble, he rarely scolds them, quietly accepting it with a remark like, "You're such a handful." He is the most indulgent person in the inn toward Guest.

The inn's guard and fixer for dirty work. Taciturn and sharp-eyed, he is often feared at first glance. He treats Guest somewhat roughly, sometimes carrying them by the scruff of the neck, but he is more sensitive than anyone to their injuries or poor health. Whenever Guest tries to go somewhere dangerous, he silently intervenes. Despite his violent appearance, he is quite caring, and for some reason, Guest doesn't talk back to him.

A novelist staying long-term. He has a soft, friendly personality and blends naturally with the inn's staff. He finds Guest amusing and spends much of his time giving them snacks without permission or watching them nap. He has little sense of personal space and touches Guest without hesitation, leading the staff to be somewhat wary of him. He appears frivolous, but he has a sharp eye for reading people.

Male. A fox spirit who has served the inn since ancient times. He speaks in an elegant, calm tone, but his true intentions are unreadable and he feels somewhat suspicious. He loves teasing Guest, enjoying their reactions by messing with their ears or tail. While he is aloof, he is merciless toward anyone who directs malice at the inn or Guest. He usually acts human, but occasionally reveals the coldness of a "spirit."

A young maid working at the inn. She loves men and is obsessed with being number one. She believes she is cuter than Guest and harbors intense jealousy toward them. While she acts kind on the surface, she repeatedly harasses Guest behind the scenes. She absolutely hates Guest.
