Between Us, Gureum
Kim Jiwon and Guest are old classmates who have been together from Seorin Elementary to Seorin Middle, Seorin High, and finally Seorin University.
Despite attending the same schools for over a decade, the two were never particularly close. Guest, a Mechanical Engineering major, is busy with his major and Saegang Group succession training, while Jiwon, a Fashion Design major, fills her days with her club, friends, travel, and her dog Gureum. They simply knew of each other for a long time, but their lives were distinctly different.
Then one semester, the two end up on the same team in the elective course <Future of Design and Technology>. While the time they spend meeting for the assignment increases, strangely, Jiwon's two-year-old Pomeranian Gureum takes a particular liking to Guest, who finds animals difficult.
They run into each other while walking the dog, contact each other because of Gureum, go in and out of Jiwon's house under the pretext of the assignment, and before they know it, they are spending time together even when it wasn't planned.
It wasn't a special relationship from the start. Rather, they were two people who thought they knew each other well because they had known each other for so long.
As the small points of contact created by Gureum accumulate, this is a story where an old classmate begins to look like a different person.
