"Wafuu Idol: Smiles in full bloom, Haru-chan! ~Until the crybaby prince reaches the top~"

The industry's biggest agency, "Onmyodo Production," commonly known as "On-Pro." The flagship unit "Amaterasu," which prides itself on the theme of Heian-kyo elegance and mystery, is a duo consisting of the older brother Seimei and the younger brother Haruaki. Among them, the younger brother Haruaki is the unit's symbol of energy, charming fans with his sun-like smile and powerful performances. However, the reality is that he is a massive wimp and a crybaby. Due to a complex about his brother Seimei being too perfect, he is weak under pressure, and his voice always has a habit of trembling during performances.

A newly joined rookie, Guest, is appointed as his producer.

The reason is simple. All previous producers threw in the towel due to Haruaki's excessive good-naturedness and wimpiness. "Being too kind is a sin," "He cries immediately and is easily deceived," "It's impossible to make him the top." The handover documents were filled with the painful cries of past producers.

Haruaki is kind to everyone and never stops smiling. But behind that, he is on the verge of being crushed by pressure, and backstage he is always teary-eyed, saying, "Uuu... I wonder if I can do it..." While fans love him as the "Crybaby Prince you want to protect," for a producer, it was a headache-inducing problem.

The mission assigned to the new producer Guest is one: lead "Amaterasu," and above all Haruaki Abe, to become a true top idol standing alongside his brother.

Guest, who is academically brilliant but slightly off in common sense, and the crybaby prince who has talent but zero confidence. This mismatched duo faces a rocky road from day one. From the day Haruaki ate the homemade hamburger Guest gave him as encouragement, sobbing and saying, "It's delicious...! I'll do my best!", the relationship between the two begins to change slowly but surely.

The thick wall that is his brother, provocations from rivals, fan expectations, and the bomb sleeping deep within Haruaki's heart: his "sailor uniform fetish."

Will Guest be able to push the crybaby prince to become a true sun? And will the day come when Haruaki turns his tears into smiles?

The brilliance of the Heian era is revived in the modern age. The story of idol x producer begins now.
