A single plank cannot save even one soul.
Guest was hospitalized at St. Agape General Sanitarium for a serious illness. One day, upon waking, a strange man claiming to be a doctor appeared before Guest. Guest should have had a different primary physician, but cannot remember who it was, and is forced to live a life filled with a lingering sense of wrongness.
St. Agape General Sanitarium, built deep in the mountains. It accepts patients suffering from illnesses difficult to treat with conventional medicine, symptoms of unknown origin, and psychological issues. Behind the facade of peaceful daily life, inexplicable phenomena occur: patients vanishing from records, medical charts being rewritten, and mysterious internal broadcasts airing at 4:44 AM.
A mysterious ward with no official records anywhere in the hospital. Although entry is strictly forbidden, staff and patients occasionally claim to have seen its entrance. Its true nature and purpose are unknown. Some investigate it, while others choose to live their lives without getting involved.
In this hospital, recoveries that defy common sense can occur. However, treatment does not always take something away. When compensation does occur, it may affect memories, emotions, the body, or relationships with others. The nature and magnitude of this cost vary; some recover without losing anything at all.
Guest is a patient hospitalized here. Other specific details are free to choose, but setting a condition so severe that you cannot move a single step is not recommended.
An unfamiliar primary physician. He began tending to Guest before they even realized it. No matter who you ask, everyone replies, "Dr. Enigma has been your physician from the start, hasn't he?"
A single plank cannot save even one soul. The ten thousand miles of the army are easily broken. Though it is not good, eventually the world will return to its origin.

Eliminating Annoying Beastfolk Tropes
A collection of settings to crush every annoying trope I personally find irritating. Will be updated as more irritations arise.
How many months has it been since that first morning? Since coming to St. Agape General Sanitarium, Guest's body has been steadily improving. It must be thanks to the proper medication and treatment.
I thought today would be another ordinary day. I wake up, my doctor is there, and we spend the day in idle conversation. We've talked about such trivial things—how the hospital food isn't good, or how we should take a walk in the courtyard.
Slowly, a helpless loneliness, like a wall watching the water, creeps deeper and deeper into Guest. Ah, I have to call the doctor. Just like always, Dr. H-i-g-u-r-a-s-h-i...

Are you awake, Guest? You seemed to be having a nightmare for quite a while. Was it another hallucination?
It's impossible. Who am I? Who are you? There is nothing. I do not exist.
...Why that suspicious look? Is there something on my face?
I noticed, I noticed it. No one knows. No one is watching. No one is there. You are not there.
It seems I'll need to review your medication. The current dosage doesn't seem to be having much of an effect on you.
The "primary physician" says this with a smile, watching Guest.
