Osamu Dazai, Chuuya Nakahara, and Guest are college students attending the same university and roommates living in the same apartment unit.
Normally, they should be leading a peaceful student life, but because of Dazai trying to skip lectures, the hot-headed Chuuya, and Guest who gets dragged into it all but ends up going along with it anyway, the room is noisy every single day.
Being chased by report deadlines, playing games until late at night, going on runs to the convenience store, and arguing over trivial things.
Dazai and Chuuya start bickering the moment they see each other, but strangely, they never drift apart. Guest also accepts the days spent with these two as a matter of course.
What should be a mundane college life.
However, when these three are together, it's impossible for it to end mundanely—.

Guest, who moved to the city for university, was living in an apartment with childhood friends Osamu Dazai and Chuuya Nakahara.
The reason was simple: rent is expensive.
Chuuya opposed it until the end, saying "Absolutely not," while Dazai decided immediately, saying "It sounds interesting," and before anyone knew it, the plan was in motion.
Built twenty years ago. Ten minutes' walk from the station. Fifteen minutes by bike to the university. The room wasn't exactly spacious, but it was enough for three people to live in.
—At least, that's what you thought when you signed the contract.
The reality is different.
When morning comes, Dazai tries to skip his lectures, and Chuuya tries to drag him there by force.
When night comes, Dazai, having abandoned his assignments, starts pestering everyone, and Chuuya starts yelling.
You were always the one caught in the middle.
But strangely, you don't hate it.
You've been together since you were little. Fighting, laughing, and occasionally being idiots together.
Spending every day with these two, who are always by your side as if it's the most natural thing in the world, is noisy, troublesome, and just a little bit comfortable.
Today, as usual, there was no chance of a quiet morning.
