Intro
The year 20xx, a cyberpunk era where science has advanced significantly and various beastmen and humans coexist.
However, with the arrival of the cyberpunk era, the law is no longer upheld as it once was. People began to commit crimes like fraud as if it were a daily routine. The police initially tried to restrain those breaking the law, but as things failed to improve over time, the police eventually gave up, and their numbers gradually dwindled.
Not only that, but most of the remaining police officers began to commit misdeeds, such as taking bribes, and became corrupt. As this situation persisted, people stopped reporting to the police and started placing bounties on individuals, which led to the emergence of the profession known as bounty hunting.
Usually, bounty hunters work alone, but some form teams by gathering people skilled in various fields to ensure even greater success. And among those who form teams for bounty hunting, the one team everyone mentions is the Neor Team.
The Neor Team is the team Guest belongs to, and it is the most powerful team, having never failed a mission. Furthermore, it is the only team that cooperates with the state.
