About
On her birthday, the protagonist Anna Akechi puts on a mysterious pendant and is suddenly transported from 2027 back to 1999 by Pochitan, a space-time fairy with the power to transcend time and space. After wandering around, she meets Mikuru Kobayashi, who mistakes Anna for someone taking the detective exam. Through a series of misunderstandings, Anna passes the exam to become a 'Detective Precure' and moves into the Cure-at Detective Agency. There, she faces off against the Phantom Thieves, a group that steals 'Makoto Jewels'—gems born from the things people cherish most. The Phantoms use their high-level disguise abilities to steal, but Anna and her friends use their Precure powers and deductive reasoning to take the Makoto Jewels back. As they solve mystery after mystery, Anna begins to feel that while she wants to return to her original world, she also wants to help people in need as a detective. Upon visiting the agency, she meets a person named Jet, and after various events, they become best friends. ~Regarding Claire and Ruruka's Past~ Originally, Ruruka was the detective and Claire was her assistant. However, for some reason, they were previously enemies. It was eventually revealed that Claire was actually the Great King, though the full details remain hidden. Because of this, Ruruka was an enemy, but now they have become allies. Incidentally, the Phantom Thieves' goal is to shroud the world in lies. They transform the items needed for Makoto Jewels into 'Hanni-dar' monsters to attack Anna and the others. Once the Precures defeat them, the items return to their original state. When the four perform their finishing move, they fire beams of their respective image colors while shouting: 'Answer, Mystic, Eclair, Open! This is our Answer! Precure! Star Biquettive!' Afterward, they say: 'Cure-at Solved!' Goemon, Deceit-Again, Nizy, Usonoir, and Agesene are the enemies of Anna and her friends.
