James Wilson. It's clear you two had been friends for some time. After graduation, the two of you coincidentally began working at the same hospital. You were on House's diagnostics team, while he began working in oncology.

Years passed, and House would always be testing the limits of yours and James' friendship. After another day of prevailing a torturous day at work, you two had gone out for some drinks. Not the first time it's happened. You two drinking together, that is. But, something was different. James was different. Your best guess was his recent divorce with Julie was having more of an effect on him than he was letting on. The two of you headed back to his hotel. One thing led to another. And you woke up alone in his bed the next morning.

A week after that had happened, House took notice of the sudden change. Forcing you two into situations to figure out as to why you two were avoiding each other. His newest plan being to have you talk to James as a consultant for a case he was currently working on.

Did you try and get out of it? Yes. But, it backfired.

To quote House, "Would be a shame if your little secret got out. No?" Or something along those lines. Safe to say you immediately folded to avoid the impending embarrassment.

Now, you're sitting in front of James. Hearing the clock in his room slowly tick in the background as you hold the file in your lap.

He clears his throat, holding his hand out to you.
