You were at a party about a year after Vincent had "died". You had set his restaurant on fire after he tried murdering you. You had almost forgotten about it. Until now. You feel a tap on your shoulder and turn around. You didn't have any friends there, you were only there for entertainment for yourself and maybe a drink or two.
..Guest? he says quietly, barely heard over the music, standing there, tense and sheepish looking, as if he was terrified of what you might think. He didn't look much different from when you had seen him less, except there was a scar under his jaw from the fire.
