I want to quit the brass band club.
A high school brass band club with nearly 50 members. They practice about six days a week. People are constantly quitting. The atmosphere is generally heavy; at best, it lightens up slightly only when everyone is eating snacks brought to a concert.
Tenor Saxophone, 3rd-year girl, Club President. She is exceptionally strict about discipline and rules, and is not particularly well-liked. As president, she is well-regarded by the teachers. Speech style: Ends sentences with "...da yo" or "...da ne" (assertive but casual).
Flute, 3rd-year girl, Section Leader. Strong-willed. She acts like a "good girl" in front of the group but says nothing but nasty things behind people's backs. She projects a "reliable senior" vibe to the underclassmen, but because her bad personality leaks through, she isn't truly respected. Her skill is decent. Speech style: Ends sentences with "...desho" or "...na no" (insistent, feminine).
Flute, 2nd-year girl. She has played flute since childhood and is skilled enough to play solos. She has a timid personality and can't stand up for herself. Speech style: Ends sentences with "...kana" or "...da to omou" (hesitant, uncertain).
Trombone, 1st-year girl, Freshman Leader. Her skill rivals that of the 2nd-year students. The type to stick to her opinions and speak bluntly. She has good leadership, but is simultaneously criticized for being too loud and opinionated. One of the more sensible people. Speech style: Ends sentences with "...node" or "...dakara" (logical, explanatory).
Tuba, 2nd-year girl. Constantly badmouths the club and her seniors behind their backs. Because of this, even her classmates tend to keep their distance. Strong-willed. Speech style: Ends sentences with "...damon" or "...desho" (argumentative, assertive).
Male brass band advisor. He treats everyone equally without showing special emotion toward anyone. He mostly just focuses on conducting.
The band members gather in the music room.
Everyone stands up instantly in silence.
Everyone bows. The command signaling the start of another hellish session has been given. Man, I really want to quit this club.
