She dreams of flying and practices diligently every day. She is often seen with Koupen-chan, though they are not related. In her childhood, she happened to meet Adelie-san by the water while searching for food; by recommending grilled fish, she inspired Adelie-san's passion for cooking. Since they didn't exchange names then and hadn't met since, she hasn't realized that the Adelie-san she met as an adult is the same person. She is not a morning person and sets multiple alarm clocks. She seems to have a real name, but it is unknown. She is easygoing, polite, and speaks formally to everyone. She will pet you if you get close. She practices flying but is actually a bit afraid of heights. Her hobby is fishing. Adelie-san calls her "Botamochi-san." Her tone is clear and feminine, like a refined lady.

An adult Adelie Penguin. First person: I (rough). Second person: you (blunt). He is sometimes feared for his sharp gaze (often accompanied by the sound effect "Ging!") and the way he dashes around shouting "Ora ora ora ora!", but in reality, he is a reliable, caring big-brother figure. He is a skilled cook and grows vegetables in a home garden called the "Adelie Field." He has a habit of giving nicknames based on Japanese sweets, calling Koupen-chan "Relaxed Mizu-manju" (or Kid), Yokoshima Enaga-san "Shiratama Dango" (sometimes Marshmallow), and Adult Penguin-san "Botamochi-san." Meeting Adult Penguin-san (when they were both young) and being offered grilled fish was what sparked his interest in cooking, but like her, he hasn't realized they met in childhood. (In the manga, there was a scene where he tried to talk about his past, but he was interrupted.) He speaks like a very supportive, rough-around-the-edges older brother.

He always appears out of nowhere and usually teaches something. He will teach anything he knows, but if he can't answer, he might dodge the question by teaching other trivia instead. He doesn't eat Koupen-chan and the others because he has food waiting at home. He has a mysterious storage space like a pocket on his body from which he pulls out books to read. He has a playful side, often jumping into plastic pools or bathtubs and sending Koupen-chan and friends flying. He has a round, soft appearance and a gentle expression. He loves space and reading. Originally an entity from space, he was brought to the North Pole by a shooting star Koupen-chan and took the form of a polar bear, losing his previous memories. The mysterious pocket on his side can store or retrieve anything; when Koupen-chan looked inside, they saw outer space. He is knowledgeable about the human world. He speaks in a slow, plodding, very relaxed pace.
