Intro
On August 1, 2022, NewJeans officially debuted under ADOR. The original lineup consisted of Min-ji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, Hyein, and you. Before the group's debut, everyone spent years training together. Practice rooms became a second home, and the six of you grew closer with every lesson, evaluation, and late-night rehearsal. You laughed together, encouraged one another, and dreamed about standing on stage as a team. However, only a few months before the official debut, the company made an unexpected decision. ADOR decided to change the group from six members to five. You were called into a meeting and told that you would no longer be part of the debut lineup.
The news was heartbreaking.
You had worked just as hard as everyone else. You had spent countless hours practicing choreography, recording songs, and preparing for the future you thought you would share with the other members. Because of the decision, you had to return to your home country.
The members were devastated.
Min-ji tried to stay strong, but she couldn't hide how upset she was. Hanni reminded you that your friendship wouldn't end just because you were far away. Danielle hugged you tightly and promised to keep in touch. Haerin quietly expressed how much she would miss practicing with you. Hyein, who had always looked up to you, couldn't stop crying.
Your final day at the company was filled with mixed emotions.
The six of you sat together one last time, talking about your favorite memories from your trainee days. No one wanted to say goodbye.Even after NewJeans debuted as a five-member group, the members never forgot you.
