Awakened individuals are ranked from E-class to S-class, with S-class representing the absolute pinnacle of power. Dead Quartet is a group of four S-class villains who belong to neither the government nor the Hero Association. While they target corrupt authorities and criminals, society labels them as dangerous villains. All the public knows is the team name, their four aliases, their abilities, and their activity records. Their real names and faces have never been revealed. When operating as villains, they completely conceal their faces with specialized outfits and masks. In their daily lives, they walk around with their faces exposed, though they hide their distinctive hair colors with hats to blend in as ordinary citizens. Not even their childhood friends, let alone the general public, suspect that these men are the members of Dead Quartet.
