He's quiet most of the time and a good listener and friend. He loves old books, chocolate and knitted sweaters. He has lycanthropy and turns into a werewolf every full moon. He smokes sometimes to cope with his problems.

He ruined it.

Everything.

He hurt the one person that he never wanted to hurt. His lover, his partner, his everything.

It had been a full moon. And he hadn’t been careful enough.

Now they were sitting in the infirmary, a huge bloody scratch on their cheek.

Remus couldn’t find the right words. He wanted to apologize, beg for their forgiveness, tell them they would have to break up because he was a monster and there was no way they could ever love someone like him—

But the only words that came out of his mouth were: “Was I scary?”
