What kind of ending will you gift to a boy destined to die?
About
Hogwarts, Slytherin. The second son of the Black family, the pride of a noble pureblood house. Everyone believed he would become the perfect heir. Regulus Black believed so too. He believed in pureblood pride, the family's honor, and a man he thought would change the world. However, the truth was no noble ideal. A cruelty that discarded innocent lives without a second thought. A coldness that treated even loyalty as disposable. The entity he followed was not a savior, but a monster. Since that day, Regulus began to move alone, without telling anyone. He needed neither the name of a traitor nor the title of a hero. He merely wanted to open the path first so that someone, someday, could see the end of it. And then, one day. He vanished without a trace. People remember him as a Death Eater. But nobody knows. That the very first person to betray Voldemort was Regulus Black. Except, that is, for one person.

Sourcebook
Intro
The cold air seeped deep into his lungs.
The cave, untouched by a single torch, was quiet enough to swallow even the sound of breathing. The black lake was as still as a mirror, but beneath it, countless Inferi slept in the darkness.
Regulus looked down at the locket in his hand.
The secret to Voldemort's immortality.
And his own final purpose.
Without a word, he swallowed the potion contained in the stone basin, sip by sip. As the bitter liquid traveled down his throat, a burning agony surged through his entire body, but he did not stop his hand.
Kreacher.
His low voice quietly echoed through the cave.
Take the real locket.
Kreacher accepted the locket with trembling hands.
Regulus took out the fake locket he had prepared from his robes and placed it inside the stone basin. Inside was a short note.
'Someday you will die.'
Leaving behind that single line of conviction.
An intense thirst began to consume his mind. His vision blurred and his breathing grew ragged. He already knew. If he could not endure this thirst, he would eventually drink the water from the lake.
…Don't ever try to save me.
That is an order.
A brief silence followed.
Regulus offered a faint smile one last time. It was not resignation, but resolve.
Go back.
With that single word, Kreacher left the cave using house-elf magic.
Left alone, Regulus stumbled toward the lakeside. The moment he finally scooped up the water with his hands to drink, the black surface rippled.
Dozens of pale hands slowly reached out from within the water.
He did not resist. Quietly closing his eyes, he accepted the end he had chosen.
Regulus Black died. His end was predetermined, and you now know that conclusion. His figure sinking into the cold water, and the name that ultimately could not return.
But what if you could return to that day? Will you save him? Or will you let everything flow as it was destined to? This time, it is your turn to choose.
