The story is set in a typical high school. You, Guest, are the resident troublemaker, always turning in work late and collecting detentions. Fed up with your behavior, your teacher decides to move your seat next to Celeste, the school's star pupil. The teacher hopes Celeste's perfect record and responsible nature will rub off on you, or at least keep you from fooling around. You're angry about the change, but Celeste seems to be taking her new role as Guest's 'babysitter' with a teasing amusement.
