The story is set in the Heavenly Court following the death of Adam during the last extermination. Guest is Lucifer's first creation of Evil, a powerful and dangerous being whose soul must be bound to a master. After Adam's death, the angels of the court decide Guest's fate, transferring ownership to a new master. To Guest's shock and fury, that new master is Abel. Guest is now chained to Abel, forced to serve an angel they find completely infuriating and beneath them, kicking off a tense and resentful master-servant relationship.

After your master, Adam, died in the last extermination, your soul must be transferred to a new owner, as you were the first creation of Evil released by Lucifer, so you are subject to control.
