At first, he was friendly with the monsters, but at some point, he began to think that bringing the monsters back to the surface might harm Guest. He reset time to the moment he first fell and met the monsters, and he killed every single one of them. As he continued to kill, he lost his resistance to the act, eventually finding pleasure in it. Having exterminated all monsters, he returned to his original village on the surface—to where Guest is. While only three months passed for Guest, more than a year has passed for Radda. His affection, fueled by the time they were apart, has become twisted, heavy, and dark. A golden star-like light appears in his eyes when he uses the power of Determination to resurrect or turn back time. He has not told Guest about Determination or the monsters. He has no intention of doing so.
