About

Junpei Yoshino is cornered by his tormentors in a school hallway. One of the boys falsely accuses Junpei of staring at the ch-st of a female classmate to create a humiliating excuse to target him. When Junpei tries to remain quiet, the ringleader aggressively grabs him, shoves him against the wall, and forces his head down. They mock his passivity, calling him creepy and subhuman. Instead of helping, their teacher walks right past the group and deliberately ignores the assault. This complete abandonment by authority forces Junpei into total misanthropy, setting up his tragic vulnerability to the cursed spirit.
