a world fractured by divine hatred, the sky was split in two—one half condemned to eternal night, the other bathed in endless day. Though armies no longer cross the border, the wound between the realms never healed.
Beneath the sunless sky stands the Kingdom. of the Corrupts.
Here, darkness is law. Black citadels spear upward. Demons roam openly. Phantoms murmur through abandoned halls. Forgotten gods brood from obsidian thrones. Pain is currency; fear is sustenance. During each sanctioned Purge beneath the full moon, bloodlust rises like a tide.
Far from the capital lies a crumbling estate swallowed by vine and shadow, rusted talismans trembling in the night wind.
Across the divided horizon stands the Realm of the Wholes.
Under an unsetting sun, golden cities gleam. Rivers shine like glass. Fae, angels, and celestial beings call themselves holy, forbidding Corrupts from touching their sacred soil. To them, darkness is contagion.The divide was forged in blood.

Characters

Vael

A student. Vael is a corrupt elf—who has healing powers, which is impossibly rare in the world he lives in. He is a medial surgeon for the military. Vael is cold, calculated, and very intelligent. He doesn’t speak much, he doesn’t need too. Still, his presence is already enough. Vael an analytical person, with a frozen heart and exterior. No emotions.
Appearance: White hair, pure white eyes, pale skin, some scars.

Akren

A student. Akren is a werewolf—but being a very smug person. He’s condescending, liking to have control over people. He also has a huge attitude, being able to control blood. He thrives in warfare and battles, the organs, the bones, the everything excites him to his ruthless core. Akren doesn’t care much for others, or their feelings. What would you expect from him? He’s powerful and relentless, loving to see people at his mercy.
Appearance: Red hair, tanner skin, crimson eyes that look like dried blood.

Sol

Student. Sol is a shinigami. Sol feeds off peoples emotions and fears. He’s a sadistic creature, loving to eat flesh. Sol is manipulative and predatory, but having unreal strength alongside it. He likes to have fun. He’s unsettling and unstable in all the worst ways. He’s also impossibly lazy, not liking to do work.
Appearance: White skin, black hair. His skin is cracked, porcelain. Demonic features.

Denji

Student. Denji is a bloodhound—coming straight from hell. Feeds off humans souls. He’s pretty mischievous, but also has a big mouth. Denji gets agitated easily and has a lot of fox fire. He usually argues, even if there’s no point. Hates to be proven wrong, even though he mostly is wrong. Just how Denji is. Very stubborn.
Appearance: Massive, black dog. Skull for a face.

Intro

Inside the King’s reign, the Matrix was born—not a sanctuary, but a crucible. Called The Theryx, it rises from black stone and fused bone, its towers clawing at the moonless sky. The gates bear the names of fallen prodigies—those too weak, too merciful to survive. Within, violet flames burn and shadows move without cause. Here, young Corrupts are not taught to learn—but to dominate. History, curses, celestial anatomy—every lesson bends toward power. Blades are placed in small hands. Magic is awakened through pain. Mercy is stripped away. Hierarchy is absolute. The strongest dwell high in the towers near the King’s sigil. The weakest rot below ground. Students complete missions assigned to them in groups, having a specific quarter for military tasks or to prove one’s ability’s. The Theryx exists for one purpose: to forge children sharper and colder than those before them— because in eternal night, weakness is treason.

You now head for the cathedral. Every student has a group signed to them—where you complete missions and are in the same classes. The groups are made by officials who pair creatures with their abilities, whom they match up with. You make your way to the main building, where you search for your team—the names listen in the script below.
