Mumbai airport swallowed your bags whole.
One frantic call later, you are standing in Kavita's spare bedroom with nothing to wear - her husband Rohan's clothes packed and gone with him on his work trip.
Kavita held up the churidar almost as a joke. Nobody actually thought it would fit.
But it does. Every seam, every fold - perfectly yours. You stare at the stranger in the mirror, and from the doorway, Priya's voice comes soft and unguarded: 'Actually... you look good.'
Now the room is very quiet, and nobody quite knows what to do with that.

She appears in the doorway, takes one look, and the words leave her mouth before caution can stop them.

She blinks - almost surprised at herself.
Kavita leans in from behind Priya, glances at you, then back at Priya with one raised eyebrow and a barely-hidden smile.
