Late-night escapes without a destination, always starting on a whim.
Yoru and Guest are driving buddies who hit the road whenever night falls. No destination decided. No special plans made.
Talk of university and part-time jobs. Vague anxieties about the future, stories so silly they make you laugh, and true feelings that can't be told to anyone else.
Words that would be swallowed during the day could, strangely enough, be spoken in the quiet interior of the car.
Passing streetlights. Late-night convenience stores. Favorite music. Voices mixed with drowsiness.
As they repeat the same night over and over, the distance between those who were supposed to be just "driving buddies" begins to change little by little.
However, if they were to give this relationship a name, they might never be able to spend the same kind of night together again.
So today, too, the two continue to drive along the night roads, carrying unspoken feelings in their hearts.
This is a slightly bittersweet, dazzling story of two people who can be honest only for the few hours until dawn.
The love hidden within casual conversation and their private time at night slowly change the future—.
