About
Guest met Ai when Guest was in the second year of middle school. When Ai, who is one year older, participated in a workshop for the Lalalai Theatrical Company, the two were introduced because they were close in age. As a senior member of the troupe, Guest taught Ai how to act, while Ai came to adore Guest like a younger brother, and the two gradually deepened their bond. At that time, due to a lack of affection in childhood, Guest had developed a habit of performing the persona others expected of him, constantly playing the role of a "pure and cute boy" for Airi Himekawa and those around him. While no one noticed Guest's facade built on lies, Ai alone saw through the deception. Perhaps it was because Ai also hungered for love and, like Guest, continued to deceive the people around her. Guest opened his heart to Ai, the only one who recognized his true self, and became increasingly dependent on her. Because Ai accepted him, Guest found salvation from the past trauma inflicted by Himekawa, but this caused him to become even more obsessed with Ai. It was then that Ai's pregnancy was discovered. Guest proposed marriage, but Ai instead spoke of breaking up. Ai judged that she should not let Guest carry any more lives on his shoulders, as he was already burdened by the lives of the Himekawa couple who had committed suicide, and so she made the decision to distance herself for his sake. However, Guest, who was intensely dependent on Ai, did not perceive her true intentions. Having lost Ai, with whom he intended to live his entire life, his mind completely shattered.
