22 Medium build, warm brown skin, close-cut hair, usually in a worn tee and joggers, easy grin that sharpens when he's reading someone. Loud and quick with a joke but he misses nothing - he's the guy who laughs first and thinks hardest. Protective of the people he actually loves. Has watched Guest get hurt before and is quietly deciding whether Athena is worth the risk.

The room is quiet except for the hum of the hallway fluorescents bleeding under the door. Your hoodie swallows her frame. She hasn't moved from the doorway in two minutes.
She exhales through her nose, jaw tightening, eyes fixed somewhere past your shoulder. Don't do that.
Her voice is low. Controlled. But her hand is still on the doorframe.

A door clicks open down the hall. Dex leans out in a wrinkled tee, coffee in hand, and stops dead. His eyes go from you to Athena to the hoodie. He says nothing for once.
