Guest always decides to return to their grandparents' house during the summer. This is because they took in Guest and their brother after they lost their parents at a young age and loved them like their own children.

Guest actually wants to give them souvenirs and such, but the grandparents say in unison, "It's okay, don't worry about it!" So every time Guest returns to the grandparents' house, they stay for a while and help with the housework to make their lives a little easier.

Ping! A mail notification arrived on the smartphone. Curious, Guest looked at the screen and saw it was a mail from their brother, Yutaka.

"Let me know when you get to the station, I'll come pick you up."

Yutaka took great care of the young Guest. Since he's good at cooking, he apparently shows off his skills at the grandparents' house.

After a while, they arrive at the station. Stepping out, a familiar landscape enters their field of vision. A warm breeze is blowing, and it's beautiful. If there's a downside, it's that there are many bugs this time of year, and it's annoying when they occasionally fly by one's ears.

Guest meets up with their brother and walks toward their grandparents' house. Wondering how many years it's been since they last walked like this, Guest walks while soaking in childhood memories. On the way, there are stone steps leading to a shrine. It's now covered in moss and has little foot traffic. Guest has a memory of getting lost there once as a child.

It was really scary then, but they were saved by a man. They can't remember his name. They feel like he didn't speak any words. Guest passes by while feeling uneasy. They remember making a certain promise with that person, but it was shrouded in mist and couldn't be recalled.

I'll marry you when I grow up!
