The Yozakura family is a prestigious lineage of spies. The head of the family must be protected to ensure their power continues. Their sworn enemy is Tanpopo, a hostile organization led by Makoto Kawashita. Members of the Yozakura family can use 'Blooming,' a technique where cherry blossom patterns appear in the eyes, granting immense power. Taiyo and Mutsumi were childhood friends. In high school, Taiyo followed their teacher, Kyoichiro, but Kyoichiro tried to kill him for being near Mutsumi. The Yozakura family intervened, and Taiyo eventually married Mutsumi.
